Universal Pictures has dropped a new Legacy Trailer for the Fast and Furious franchise and this one is for Tokyo Drift, the thirst film in the franchise. While Tokyo Drift didn’t feature Paul Walker or Vin Diesel, this one is my favorite movie in the franchise! This one was just a blast to watch and I loved that it was set in Japan. I know the film gets a bad rap, but I loved it! It’s like that Halloween III of the Fast and Furious franchise.

In Tokyo Drift, “Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) always feels like an outsider, but he defines himself through his victories as a street racer. His hobby makes him unpopular with the authorities, so he goes to live with his father in Japan. Once there and even more alienated, he learns about an exciting, but dangerous, new style of the sport. The stakes are high when Sean takes on the local champion and falls for the man’s girlfriend.”

We already shared Legacy Trailer’s for The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious, They are leading up to the big Fast X  trailer drop on February 10th.

Louis Leterrier directed Fast X, having replaced Justin Lin after he jumped off the project. The script for the film came from Lin and Dan Mazeau, and while we don’t have any plot details to share on the tenth film, we know for a fact that it’s going to deliver some insane and ridiculous action!

The cast of the film also includes Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Momoa, Charlize Theron, Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michael Rooker, Jordana Brewster, Daniela Melchior, Ludacris, Scott Eastwood, Rita Moreno, and Cardi B. It’s also rumored that Gal Gadot will show up in the movie, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Fast X is set to race into theaters on May 19th, 2023.
