Al-Kawthar satellite channel started its activities in Arabic since 1980 as Sahar satellite channel for one hour a day, the name of this channel was changed to Al-Kawthar satellite channel in 2006 and the broadcasting hours of this channel reached 24 hours a day in 2010. Al-Kawthar channel aims to spread the authentic Islamic Mohammedan thought and the idea of Ahl Al-Bayt according to the Shiite faith through a variety of programs that are exposed to various humanitarian, religious, intellectual and social fields and aims to spread awareness among viewers by highlighting the strengths of the Islamic nation and calling for unity and solidarity among Muslims who have to be like one body according to the text of the Holy Quran, which called Muslims to be one row like a two-storied structure.
