Canal 9 Bío-Bío Televisión (also known as Canal 9 and previously as Canal 9 Regional) is a Chilean free-to-air television channel, with a bi-regional focus specifically on the Biobío Region and the Ñuble Region. It is currently based in the city of Concepción, Chile, in front of the Plaza de la Independencia. Its broadcasts began on open TV on August 23, 1991 as the first regional channel operating in Concepción. Audiovisual medium that was born a few years ago with the mission of strengthening the contents of the Radio. Nowadays, the goal is to be part of the most important and influential multiplatform media set in Chile. Radio Bío Bío and its different platforms give life to Bío Bío TV.
