Komáromi Televízió was founded in 1993 by the municipality of Komárom. In the beginning, it operated as a local government institution, from 1999 in the form of a limited company. From February 1, 2009, it continues its work as a public limited liability company. The main tasks of the company are: operating the Komárom City Television, producing television programs, publishing the city newspaper, and since 2009 performing communication tasks related to the European Union tenders of the city of Komárom.
