Rete8, also known as Rete 8, is a television network of Abruzzo based in Chieti. Founded in 1988, Rete8 has the peculiarity of airing only self-produced programs. The headquarters of Rete8 is located in Chieti in Viale Abruzzo 374, near the Guido Angelini Stadium. The company also has branch offices in L'Aquila and Teramo (CH). The Tg8, newscast of Rete8, collaborates with Sk Italia Italy and La7 when events of national interest happen in Abruzzo. In the television season 2011-2012, Rete 8 aired, at the same time with the local TV of Publishare, the information program Public Service, the following year instead broadcast the most important matches of the last days of the Spanish La Liga.
